Celtics have dominated right from the early phase. The team has a record of winning NBA championships eight consecutive times, which not only is a record for basketball in North American Basketball, but is a record amongst all professional sports in North America.

Celtics has been in existence from 1946. It has the most number of NBA championships to its name. The team got their first ever NBA championship in the year of 1957 and then continued their dominance.

A team that has so many NBA championships to its name is sure to have great players in its team from time-to-time. In the 1950’s, the team had players like Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, and K.C. Jones, who took the team to great heights along with their teammates. The present line-up includes Kevin Garnet, Ray Allen and many more and they are trying to pull the team back to the top most level.
Achievements
The team had an excellent run of success from the 1950s till 1980s, the team started going down after that but have again started winning at the highest level. With their triumph against the Lakers for winning the NBA Championship in 2008, they have announced their resurgence in the NBA scene.
